Faculty Recruiting - Tenure-Track Position
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking applications for two full-time tenure-track positions to begin in the Fall Term 2007, pending budgetary approval. One of the positions is at the Assistant Professor level and the other is at an open rank. While we are seeking outstanding candidates in all areas of Computer Science, we specifically encourage applications from candidates whose research will enhance interdisciplinary collaborations between the Computer Science department and other units in the university . Responsibilities include research, supervision of graduate student research (PhD and MS), and graduate and undergraduate teaching. Candidates should have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related area and should demonstrate exceptional research potential and teaching ability.
