Internships

Introduction

A student may register for an internship through the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS 1900) or through the Department of Computer Science (CS 1900). If you do not have the requirements necessary to register for CS1900, then you should certainly consider CAS1900. In either case, the student must have a faculty sponsor. If you register for CS1900, this sponsor must come from the Department of Computer Science. If you are not able to find a sponsor, speak to the director of undergraduate programs, 6145 Sennott Square, for assistance.

  • Internship credit is billed at the same rate as other CAS courses.
  • All internship credits are taken with the S/N grade option.
  • The Internship Agreement Form must be sent to the Dean's Office (140 Thackery Hall) to be placed in the student's permanent file.
