Job Title: Microsoft Web Developer Project: Responding and fixing Live Site issues on MSN portal sites (MSN.com, MyMSN, MSNToday, International MSN Portals) Duration: 6-12 month project Location: Onsite at Microsoft in Redmond, WA (No remote work available) Starts: ASAP (late August, early September) As part of the The Live Site team, you will be responsible for: - Fixing critical and high impact escalated problems for customers. - Providing support and QFE solutions for Editorial and Production teams. - Owning Release Management and Sustained Engineering for the Portal Experience team for the Web Sites, including: -- MSN.com -- MyMSN -- MSNToday -- International MSN Portals A sample of the MSN Portal Sites: - US Homepage: http://www.msn.com - Canada Homepage: http://sympatico.msn.ca This site has both English and French versions via a link in the header. - MSN Today: http://t.msn.com/en-us/nologin.aspx This is a test version of the page that you can view without logging in. There are about 30 different international versions of this page. - Malaysia AutoPortal: http://malaysia.msn.com There are about 10 different international versions of this page. These "AutoPortal" sites allow our small markets to create Portal sites for their regions without an editorial team. - MyMSN: customizable MyMSN site.
