We are currently recruiting for a Software Developer to join our TrueSource
team in Pittsburgh. 

Position Overview 

Reporting to the Manager, Product Development, the incumbent will perform
software design and development for the Syndesis TrueSource product.
Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability, interest, and/or
experience in software development, user interfaces, and software design. 

Education 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent 

Responsibilities 

- Refine and accelerate TrueSource's existing front-end GUI 
- Focus on product usability while extending the UI with new features as
well as maintaining existing functionality 
- Develop, write, and champion usability standards, guidelines, and
requirements within the product development process 
- Participate in design and development of the TrueSource back-end 
- Full product life cycle 
- Successfully deliver on time, and every time 

Experience & Skills 

- Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills 
- Knowledge of Java and Object Oriented Programming 
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, transactions 
- Oracle/JDBC is a plus 
- Java (SE), Swing, threading, XML/XSLT 
- J2EE/EJB is a plus 
- Web development experience is a plus 
- OSS, networking, data warehousing knowledge is a plus 
- Platforms: Win2K, XP, Solaris 
- Build environment (Ant, make), Source Control
